Bumps in the Bathroom Receives Global Music Awards Bronze Medal

Bumps in the Bathroom: and other lost shows, the 2026 musical theatre album by composer and lyricist Will Larche, has received a Bronze Medal from the Global Music Awards.

Released by Apple Pie America, the album preserves songs from three original musicals: Bumps in the Bathroom, Bail Out the Musical, and Lesbian Love Octagon. The recording features performances by Emily Skinner, Beth Malone, Ben Jackson Walker, Evan Kinnane, Gretchen Wylder, Will Shishmanian, and the Ring of Keys choir, with orchestrations by Scott Ninmer and musical direction by Julianne B. Merrill.

The Global Music Awards recognize independent musicians and recordings across a wide range of genres. In the organization’s announcement, Bumps in the Bathroom was identified as a music theatre release and was the only music theatre honoree listed.

“This album was created to preserve work that might otherwise disappear,” said Larche. “I’m grateful to see it recognized—and especially grateful to the extraordinary artists who brought it to life.”

The album is available on major streaming platforms, with a vinyl edition forthcoming from Apple Pie America.
